Google Analytics Experiment

We are getting ready to do an a/b experiment. Is it possible to do a full site experiment or only one landing page?

We are working on a complete site redesign and what to see which performs better.

Most of our Google Adwords traffic is from shopping PLA's ads so it would be difficult to choose one product to experiment with.

Hi Eric
Yes, you can run the test on a single page, but it's up to your site setup as to how easy this can be. The easiest way to do this would be to have the content experiment code trigger on a specific page conditionally using Google Tag Manager and do it that way.

You can also implement it sitewide or on universal pages (like the checkout pages so that it doesn't matter what product is chosen).

The Analytics help center articles are a really good start.
