How are gmail ads targeted in GDN and how do we see the ads of gmail. What are the different targeting methods?

Hey Raghvendra,

Gmail Ads are a part of Google Display Network platform,
but the difference is your ads shown as a text ads only on Gmail not banner ads.

I like to suggest to add relevant keywords for your ads so Ad will be display that matches the "theme" of your keywords.

Hey Again,

Sign in to your AdWords account at http://adwords.google.com.
Click the Campaigns tab and select your campaign.
Click the Ads tab.
Under the "Status" column, point to the speech bubble icon next to the status of any of your ads. You should see a confirmation that your ad is or isn’t running and the reason for its status.

Hi Raghavendra,

You can't see preview of your text ads targeted via display network. Ad Preview tool is only available for Search Ads. By chance while surfing gmail you can see your ads. In my opinion!

Thanks

I agree with Neha. You can't preview DNA. Best option is that check your mail box which has thematic topic and find your ads. Although you can find more details on display ads report, where your ads triggered most.

Thanks.
