Hi @Sakshi Mohan S,

If your keyword is [luxury hotels in delhi], and your negative keyword is delhi. Your ads won't trigger. It won't trigger for any search query that has delhi in it.

Thanks
Ratan Jha

Well, Yes. You can use 'delhi hotels' as broad match negative. But, there's
a downside. Your ads can still trigger for search terms which have either
of the two words or their close variants.

Hence, if you don't want your ads to trigger either for delhi or for hotel,
use them separately as negative keywords.

Hi Sakshi Mohan S,

If the keyword is exact, it will only show your ad when the search query is exactly the same, in the same order, with close variants. Unless you have other keywords in the group that would trigger on a search including Delhi hotels, there's really no reason to add this as a negative. If that is the case, you might consider splitting the ad group up.

Best of Luck!
