Does increasing my bids change my budget?

When I increase my bids, how does this effect my budget?

If I increase my bids, will my budget cap it and only spend so much, even though I have changed my bid?

(I am still super new to AdWords so I apologize; I have a had time trying to explain my questions sometimes!)

Hey Jessi,

Simple answer is no. Changing your bid will not change your budget. You may reach your budget cap faster or slower depending on your new bid. But your budget will remain the same no matter what you set your bid at.

Hi Jessi T,

Thanks for posting!

Don't worry, increasing your bids does not increase your budget. Your daily budget will remain the same.

Your budget is how much your are willing to spend in total per day. Your max cost per click (CPC) bids are how much you are willing to pay for each click to your website.
