Hi Shray,

Technically Organic Rankings are completely separate from SEM and have no real correlation.  However, SEO techniques can and to some levels should be used on landing pages for SEM Efforts.

But to again address the question.  In short, your AdWords Account and Landing Page Experiences are the only areas that contribute to performance.  Your organic rankings have zero impact.

Hope this helps!

on-page SEO can help your ad quality score for your landing pages.  If you optimize your landing pages to match your ad text and keywords in your campaign your quality score will go up and your cpc will go down.

Tom,
Thanks for the Quality Response.
Just a quick one here. For example if we have to target keywords "Chocolate Making Course", Now how important will it be to have "Chocolate Making Course" in Title & Meta Description of the Landing Page?.

Thanks
Shray

Hi Shray,

If you have dedicated, themed landing pages, I would say this is a great idea but please remember, landing pages should not always be about appeasing the machine, more importantly you want to focus on appeasing the user.

My understanding is that 'landing page experience' is what Google looks it.  It is a combination of factors some of which would obviously be content of the page but there is much more involved.

Take a look here to read more about how Google outlines landing page experience, which is actually reflected in Keyword Diagnosis.

Hello Shray,

SEO and SEM slightly different but part of a coin.

Yes good SEO will make you help for SEM, because when your will use Google Adwords then your website SEO play a vital role there.

For better quality score and better ad position Keyword relevancy always matters, in that case onpage SEO is very powerful way to manage your ad performance. But your whole management will depend on keyword competition and placement.
