Do i need to check if my match types have been altered due to recent changes?

Hi guys

 

I read not long ago on sewatch that with google introducing the new changes to match types that my keywords might have been reset from 1 match type to another.

 

ive checked and cant see any changes so do you have any advice?

Hi Ripleyhypno,

 

Google is not changing the match types, they are changing HOW they will be handling the match types.  They refer to it as 'Improving Exact Match and Phrase Match'.

 

I'm not exactly positive when the changes are going to be live, they could already be.  If you find that these changes have affected your campaigns negatively or you would like to avoid any changes, you can opt-out at the bottom of the settings page for your campaigns under the heading "Keyword Matching Options".
