Display ad not getting any impressions.

I have a campaign on the search netowork with display selected and the Text ad gets a lot of impressions but the display Ad does not get a single impression.  Does anyone know why?

Hi Rental,

Welcome to the AdWords communitySmiley Happy

As you are using the Search with Display select. this campaigns type is designed for advertisers who spends on only search network want to target display without creating a seperate campaigns for Display network. But search network select has the limitation that major part of budget spends on search network.

As display banner ads require more bid to win the ad auction as campared with text ads. so try to increase the bids. But remember you can not edit the display network bid in search network with display select. So you have to increase the search network bids.
That's the reasons that your display ads not getting impression.

in this type of campaign, if you are with a tight budget, you might not get to see any impressions on display. (All the budget is allocated by the system for the "main" campaign - search.) Only if there is "extra budget left" - the system will assign it for display.
