Definitive answer does Search Network affect Google.com QS?

I have seen this listed both ways on several forums.  If I have a 10% CTR on Google.com but a 2% CTR on the Search Network bringing my average CTR to 4%, should I remove my keywords from the Search Network?  Will I get higher placements, lower cpcs on Google.com if I do?

I believe you're talking about your CTR on the Google SERPS (10%) versus your CTR on the Search Partner sites (2%)?

As far as I know, no, you will not get higher placements or lower CPCs on google.com if you opt your campaign out of the Search Partner traffic.

Google is aware that the SP sites perform very differently than their SERPs. There is no 'penalty' for a campaign performing at a lower level on them. In terms of quality score and ad rank--only performance on google.com is measured for those.

Hello tjeastman;

I am not quite sure I understand your question; Google.com is a part of the Google search network...

Are you referring to the display network?
