If we are not satisfied with the DKI, can we stall it at any time of the campaign? If yes, how can it be done?

Yes, you can stall it at anytime. Just pause the dki ad.

Hi,

But do I have to create a new ad to use DKI or I can edit my existing ad to use DKI? And suppose if I do not wish to pause the ad, is there any way to pause DKI?

Hi Kapil,

You can do both.

If you don't want to pause the ad then all you have to do is remove the DKI parameter from the Adcopies that are currently on DKI. This will result in DKI removed with adcopy still enabled.

And how those DKI parameters can be removed?

Just remove the {Keyword:} part from the Adcopies and you will be back to the normal Adcopies.

Hi Kapil,

I'd like to offer a possible solution here...

You can create numerous ads per ad group. I would start and create one (or a few) static text ads for your ad groups. Then, if you'd like to try using DKI, copy an existing ad and edit it to add in the DKI parameters. This way, you have options to run them both at the same time or run one while the other is paused.

Hi Kapil,

I just want to add that editing and add is not the same a pausing an ad. When you edit, the original ad is deleted and a new ad is created. This means you will not be able to reactivate that ad without recreating it. I like Tommy's (PPCBossman) approach better.

Best of Luck!
