Clicks from outside our targeted area, why?
I think we are receiving clicks from outside our targetted area. Can someone from Google tell why this is?
We only want to target people in a 15mile radius around Sheffield. I already have this set up in Location targetting. However, when I look at the keyword search terms, it's showing 'boiler servicing edinburgh' for instance.
I have now added an exclusion of the whole of the UK is this correct approach??

Hello RobotHuftron; welcome;
Two possibilities (or a combination of the two)
- In advance targeting choose "people in my location only"
- Geo targeting is as good in Europe as in the USA. (Due to technical problems mapping the telecom infrastructure). Could be that IPs in neighbourhoods outside your targeted regions are assigned to the region within the radius.
What you are describing is typical to "radius targeting". Thus, I prefer to target by city or by region (Choosing from the list).
