Can you change artwork on ads without rebuilding the audience?

Is there a way to change the artwork on your remarketing ads without having to rebuild the audience?

The goal is to use the current audience and promote short term sale offers to them. Ex. 20% off sale which runs 48 hours. This would need to be put up and taken down upon start of the sale and expiration. It should default to the original generic ads.

The problem with starting fresh is that the audience will not have enough time to build before the sale expires.

Thanks

Hi Erik J,

Are you asking if it is possible to change the ads while targeting the same remarekting list? Yes, it is!

During the sale period, you can create ads (specific to the sale) in a new ad group and use the same remarketing list. Then pause the ad group when the sale ends and enable the original ad group to continue how it was.

Feel free to write back!

The audience is independent of the ads. The audience is just that - an audience - you can present as many campaigns as you want to them... in fact it is probably a good idea to change campaigns and ads on a fairly regular basis if your audience is set to last a relatively long time... I would hate to be remarketed to using the same ad for 18 months!
