Hi,

Yes, quality score is affected... and yes, they become part of your account history.

Any changes to ads (editing old one or adding new ones) brings about a review and approval process... then they are added to the system and performance is tracked. This is true for any structural changes to your AdWords campaigns.

Kind Regards,

James
