Call extensions in display network ads

Has anyone else been able to get call extensions working in display network ads? We've been unable to get any phone impressions on campaigns running in the display network, and when we browse our ads with a mobile phone, the call extensions are not appearing. I'm wondering if this is a problem with our account or whether other advertisers are having the same problem.

Thanks in advance for your replies.

Extensions doesn't work on display network but just saw an article now which states that Google may show your extensions in some cases on the display network.

Thanks for the link. It does appear to say that only social extensions work on the display network and not other types of extensions, so I guess that means I shouldn't expect call extensions to work in the display network.

My dedicated adwords rep is still insisting that call extensions should work on the display network, but she hasn't been able to help me get them running. Perhaps she is just wrong. It would not be the first time.

To my knowledge call extensions are not available on the display network; (at least not  for legacy campaigns)

Actually I just had a discussion around this with my Google Rep the other day and the phone extensions are available with text ads on the display network now.

Now, having said that neither her or I could find the documentation for this but she insisted that it is in fact true.

Ohhh...Kim this is interesting;

I will ask Google to get a display specialist to comment;

Did anyone ever get a solid answer on this?  I'm now wondering the same thing.

@JoyHawkins;

Apparently it was "lost" among other issues escalated to Google and "forgotten".

However; This is quite old. Can you open a new one, with your question, and we will forward again to Google.
