Brand Revenue drop

Hi,

We have seen a dip in Brand Account from March. Possible reason we could see is reduction in coupon code in march. Our Brand is Hotel Industry , Based out of india.

- We have already increased the coupon offer.

- Checked auction insight for performance and its all good, I could see that competitors have started bidding aggressively with huge discount compared to us.

Please help with the possible changes we can make to scale Brand again.

Hi Shreyanka,

Are you concern about Google Search Result Ad Position or Display Network?

Because increase in the coupon offer is not related to the Ad position. The Ad Copies and other factors may be involved in dip of brand revenue.

Can you please eloborate the query, so that we can provide better solution.

The Subject Shreyanka has mentioned is "Brand Revenue Drop". So we are confused about the query.

Even Archit is asking about which metric is going low.

@Syed Nouman,
As she has mentioned that auction insight report is good, so I just want to confirm if the key metrics for both the month are similar or there is a drop

Hi Shreyanka,

As you have mentioned "Our Brand is Hotel Industry , Based out of india.
- We have already increased the coupon offer." That could be one concern for the drop in revenue.

You may have increased the coupon offer after a research about behaviour of competitors. And you had to change all your Ad Copies or update new Adcopies where you had to make changes in the offer value in text Ads or image Ads.

Once the text ads are live and it takes time to optimize for new ads. Make sure that you have paused all your old coupon Ads. If those ads are stil live, then customers are not converting from your website and jumping towards better offers from competitors.

These were my observations based on your information provided. Hope others can also provide more inputs.

Hope that there will be growth in conversions and revenue.

Hello Shreyanka,

have you comparison March 2015 and 2016? No changes were in the countries you have business? What was your most converted pages in February and in March? Find people who don't use coupon.

Try retarget your visitors who don't convert and don't see your new offer.

Hi Shreyanka,

This may be due to seasonal trend with respect to location India.(March=closing month).
Might be competitors are also facing the same issue.
Please wait for the April data, I am sure it will be doubled in the month of May and June(Wrt Summer Vacation season).
