Automate Rules For Locations

I have used the automated rules feature in the past for switching adgroups off on a particular date which I found very useful. I am now looking for my bids to be changed when someone clicks from Washington as that seems to be where the most conversions are coming from.

Would this be done as an automated rule or through a bid strategy?

Thanks in advance

Hi Alan,

Increasing/decreasing the bids for particular locations can be done with the help of location bid adjustment.

Note: this adjustment can be done at campaign level as you can not control locations at adgroup level.
You can make adjustment with in the range: -90% to 900%

To use this: go to setting(campaign) >> locations >> make adjustments.

Hi Alan
This would actually be done by using a location bid modifier. And if I do say so myself, it works VERY well Smiley Wink
Here's how to do it: https://support.google.com/adwords/editor/answer/47629?hl=en

Hope that helps.
