Adwords and Analytics visitor number doesn't match up. Why?

I have the analytics code in the header of the page, but the number of people visiting the site via the AdWord ad and the number shown on Analytics for the landing page is off by a lot. Adwords is saying within a month (30 days) the page has had 50 clicks, meanwhile Analytics is saying, for that same page, there has been 25 for the same date range.

Why is this occuring?

Hi SEOWizard,

AdWords clicks and Analytics vists are two very different metrics. Two or more clicks on your ad with 30 minutes will result in 2 (or more) AdWords clicks but only one Analytics visit. There are other reasons, like time frame is different, but this is the main one. It is virtually impossible to reconcile AdWords clicks to Analytics visits.

Best of Luck
