Adwords Campaign Experiments - Time, Success & Improvements.

Hello all,

This is the first time I have started with Google adwords experiments.

What I did is, Replicated 2 my old campaign to draft and change all of ads with ETA.

And then put those 2 new draft campaigns on experiment with 99% and 1% to original campaign.

I am receiving great CTR in experiment compare to normal campaign. But the issue is CPC, its too high.

So you think adwords treat experiment campaign as a new and there will be no history so CPC will be high?

How much time should I give for this campaign? Any improvements, suggestions?.

HI Mansoor,

It actually depends upon how much you are controlling and how much you put into experimenting. Also note that whenever the experiments are run, AdWords system will randomly select the ad auction bid that you have applied based on the percentage you set within the experiment settings.

My thoughts!
