Hi Everybody.

I hope you can help explain the following to me.

I have 3 ads in the same adgroup, been running exactly the same time, but each has a different avg position, why is this?

Thanks

Jonny

Hi Jonny,

To add to Deepak's answer, every time your Keywords are queried you enter into the auction, and depending on performance, competitors, etc. your Ad Rank will be re-calculated and could (probably will) be different.  Because of this, your Average Position will vary.

Also, one of the factors of Quality Score is your Ad's expected CTR.  Because each Ad is different, they'll have different CTRs, which will impact their Average Position.  Ads with higher CTR should, all things being equal, receive higher Average Positions.
