AdWords not showing first page bids

Hello everyone,

AdWords would always show which KW's are below first page bid and show the bid required in order to rank on the first page

Now about 3 out of 20 KW's show the actual bid required to rank first page, the rest is a guessing game and requires a lot more time to optimize

Is this happening to anyone else? Or does anyone have a solution to this?

Thank you

It is possible that some of your keywords are "low volume" which causes the message about "below first page bid" to vanish.  It is OK to leave those keywords in your campaign but you'll need to do the following.

On the "Keywords" page (tab), go to "add Columns" and add this column:  "Est First Page Bid".  Drag it up to the top position near Max CPC, when you add it before saving.

Now you'll be able to scan through each keyword and see if your bids are at or above the estimated first page bid # provided by Google.

hth!
