AdWords Experiment for Landing Page Test

Hi!

I wanted to test if changing my landing page across a campaign would improve performance. I set it up in an AdWords experiment and set for a 50% split. It's been running for a little over a week and the experiment is getting a lot more impressions than the control. When looking at the experiment to it shows that there is a statistical significance for impressions and also avg. position.

Does anyone know how the 50% split works? Also, has anyone used an experiment in this way? I have only done it before for bidding changes.

Thanks!

Hi Dyana,

Based on the numbers that you mentioned, did you follow this table to make the interpretations :-

This would actually help you gauge the real performance and help in making informed decisions. More details can be found here: https://support.google.com/adwords/answer/6318747?hl=en
