Some of you might remember this tool as the Ad Preview tool. We recently rebranded and integrated this tool with ad diagnosis. This is why it now has a new and longer title.
What is this tool and why should you use it?
Ad Preview and Diagnosis Tool (google.com/AdPreview) helps you to identify why your ad might not be showing. The tool also shows a preview of a Google search result page for a specific term, helping you see which ads are appearing for your keyword or not. If your ad is not showing, the tool will give you the reason why.
With this tool you can:
- check the status of your ad for a particular keyword
- see how your ad appears in search results (note: Don’t try to do a search on Google because you’ll just increase your impressions)
- you can also specify different locations, languages, devices to see if your targeting is correct should you target more then one geo location
