Hi Ben,

You can upload your text ads in 2 ways

A) Copy & paste the ads directly on Adwords editor.

B) Upload through a spreadsheet

To utilise either of these options, you need folowing preparation.

Preparing the list of text ads

Steps :
1) Make a spreadsheet

2) Arrange the ad details in this sequence - Campaign name, Ad group name, Headline, Description line 1, Description line 2, Display URL, destination URL, Status.

3) Save.

Steps of uploading ads :

A) Copy & paste the ads directly on Adwords editor.

1) Copy all the spreadsheet data
2) In the adwords editor, Go to the Data Menu > Add/Update Multiple Text Ads
3) Tick the option stating "My text ad information below..........adgroup names"
4) Paste the spreadsheet data.

B) Upload through spreadsheet: Go to the Adwords editor => File => Import => From File => Select the spreadsheet file => Import

You are done

As per my experience, first options would be easier for you.

I hope my answer solves your query.
