 Here are answers to a few more questions that came up during our live Academy on Air session below:


Call-only ads:

Call-only ads are not going away with the launch of Expanded Text Ads (ETA). However, Call-only ads are not currently compatible with Expanded Text Ads. We expect support to be coming soon.

What will happen on 31 January, 2017
Starting on January 31, 2017, you’ll no longer be able to create or edit standard text ads — you’ll only be able to create and edit text ads using the expanded text ads format. Existing standard text ads will continue to serve alongside expanded text ads.

Would mobile-bid adjustments still be beneficial? 

Yes indeed. While the ad text may be cross-device, users are engaging with devices in many ways. You can still set mobile bid adjustments if you would like to bid differently for people on mobile devices.
