Google really needs to update Adwords features for App install campaigns. Being a E commerce adwords account manager, we are spending on app installs campaigns more than the search and display.

Thanks for the session Team, I have a few questions from App Campaign Experts:

 

  1. In Display App install Campaigns - How can i see the placemenrts?
  2. In Universal app install campaign - i never know where my ads are running? It's like anonymous to me, why Google has kept advertisets in dark, seems like most of the downloads are coming from my brand searches. I have tried added my brand terms as negative and suddenly my campaign CPI went up.
  3. Why the actual CPI is far away from my target CPI? e.g. Target CPA is Rs 35 and actual CPI even went up to Rs 200, I am not willing to pay more then Rs 40 but how it is taking 200?
  4. I can't see search terms for play store search campaign, It has been over 6 months now, but still it has not come to my account. Also Keyword planner do not tell the search volumne and search data of play store. Is that possible to get it?

The only issue I have with Search campaigns for App, they start competing with the keywords i have for website. And both ads start appearing on same keywords. 

 

What should I do to stop competition?

Yes, we have separate accounts for App and Web.

And regarding UAC, it is very unpredictable, one day consuming $300 ​and
the other day it goes to like $100 only. So I am desperately looking for
the solution about the App campaigns.​

This is the reason you are competing against yourself. I think you should
use 1 accounts for search. However, you can serrate Display, This is my
assumption.

For UAC - This all depends on the auction for that day, it is usual for UAC
where you will see a lot of fluctuations. Here you can try adding some
negatives which you think your business do not relate.

How it would select they keywords if I use the same account? Let's say I
have a Search Standard campaign and one App Install and both have same
keywords. ​Would not they be competing again?​
