WHY IS A SUBDOMAIN NOT ACCEPTED WITHIN GOOGLE ADSENSE?

Hi, everyone!

I am currently trying to apply for an AdSense account.  I am in the process of building my own website which has no subdomains, therefore I am trying to submit one of my free website accounts, but it is not recognised as it has a subdomain e.g mywebsite.wordpress.com

Is there any reason why this is not acceptable?

Thank you in regard!

Hi @Werner Smit,

You can use a sub-domain with AdSense, so I think there is something else happening during your creation process. It could be the type or quality of the website you are trying to submit. Not sure... but you would want to direct your help inquiry to the AdSense help forums where there are dedicated experts that can help you best. They can also guide you in utilizing the product correctly in the long run, too.

Be sure to enjoy the info provided in the AdSense User Guide, as well.
