Google Partner Badge Decal on Window

As far as the rules for the use of the Google Partner Badge, does anyone know if we are allowed to have one done as a window decal for an office door.

We are a lonely door that leads to a second floor, and would like to put the logo below our business logo on our door, but do not know if that is allowed.

Also figure this should be in the water cooler part but, figuring out how the new community works.

Hi @Michael G I would guess that it depends upon whether you can say your door is "marketing material".  The usage guidelines are (as is often the case) rather vague but I'd argue the spirit of those guidelines mostly boils down to three things:

#1 - Don't pretend you're Google.

#2 - Don't mess with the badge.

#3 - Don't use it on anything dodgy.

With that in mind I'd see no problem using it on a door, so long as it was properly formatted and didn't give an overt impression of affiliation with Google.

I agree with @Jon_Gritton, this is okay if it's alongside your company logo and is not impersonating Google.

It would be below our Logo, phone and web address.
We have the partner meetings here and are starting to get RSVP's from
people and companies i have never heard of so thought it would be an easy
way to spot the door that leads to us.

Thanks.

May see if I can have it done as a reversible removable decal, so that we
can put it up just for partner meeting days.

Google Partner decals or stickers would be awesome if we could them via the Google Store. Not cost effective for me to pay to have it done as a 1-off. I would consider a window decal or as a sticker on my laptop.

@Kyle Reeves it might even be that getting them produced yourself would fall foul of the Policies since then they might be considered "products or promotional items", although I'm sure the Policy spirit means you can't have a mug with your company logo and the Partner badge.

What do you think @Alex R?  If someone produced stickers/window decals of the Partner badge, would that breach Policy?  Would it matter whether they were free or priced?

Sticker for laptop would be cool.
For the window I was thinking something like a vinyl that you can put on
and peel off, like those sticker books we used to get when we were little.
You could move them around as you liked.

It would make it great for partner meetings, - I have a large pull up sign
already (thank you google), but you have to walk in the door and up the
stairs to see it.
