Re: 1 business got wiped off the map, and I'm still suspended

Hey Randy,

You provided a ton of information in that first post so I'm trying to make sure I have my facts straight. What it appears like is that you actually have one business/place - Hubbard Chapel, that offers 2 different services - funerals & weddings. You share the same phone # and address on both websites.

If these are in fact completely different businesses with different tax IDs or different owners etc they would generally have different phone numbers or have some type of agreement to share the space at Hubbard Chapel.

I think this is probably causing the majority of your issues because businesses are not allowed to create multiple pages to cover each service - they are only allowed one page period.

Right - it was probably deleted because it appears like you have 2 pages for the same business like I mentioned in my last post.

Hey Randy,

Okay so I see that the weddings one is at 3150 2nd St, Hubbard, OR (https://goo.gl/maps/13okPSpbQn22) and the funeral one is at 2934 H. Street, (https://goo.gl/maps/jCuYfkBNLu92)

Why do you refer to both places as Hubbard Chapel if they are 2 completely separate buildings? I think that has got to be a really confusing signal to Google.

The other thing is your business name. "Affordable Dream Weddings at Hubbard Chapel" makes it sound like you're including keywords in the business name. It appears the real business name is just Hubbard Chapel. This is how it's registered with the state: http://egov.sos.state.or.us/br/pkg_web_name_srch_inq.show_detl?p_be_rsn=1607063&p_srce=BR_INQ&p_prin...

Even your logo just references "Hubbard Chapel" and I think that's what Google would assume your proper business name is. Keywords and descriptive words are not allowed in business titles and will get your page suspended.

Correction: these are not 2 different buildings. Why are you using different addresses for them? It's the exact same building. This is also a violation of Mapping guidelines. Once I moved around the corner on Street View I was able to see that this is in fact the same building, just looking at it from different angles.

You should have 1 page total, called Hubbard Chapel - with the correct street address (not a made up one) with categories stating you offer both funeral & wedding services. Until you do that you will keep running into issues with suspensions and pages getting removed for violating guidelines.

Hi @Randy D

So this is the situation:

1 x Business Page called: Hubbard Chapel

select 2 categories:  wedding venue, funeral service

Describe the 2 services that the chapel provides.

Link both websites to the 1 single business page

The single Hubbard Chapel will rank for both weddings and funerals
