I have a client who needs to get control of his Google Local listing.  It was set up by an SEO guy three years ago who has since vanished.  How do we prove that whoever is listed as the contact has abandoned it?    I've found some instructions but they're assuming we have access to the email account.  It no longer exists if it's the SEO guy's.  And I can't even see any mechanism to trigger it to send a password reset or whatever.

Hi @Linda C

You can start the process to try to gain ownership of the listing by following the instructions in this article (under the section "Can't contact the listing owner"): https://support.google.com/business/answer/4566671
