WE are unable to respond to guest reviews due to change of business ownership

We took over a B&B business known as Squirrels Corner B&B about two years ago.

Some of our guests use Google my Business to post reviews.

Although the review notification is received by us as the "old" email address (squirrels@lando.co.za) is forwarded automatically to our "new" address email (bookings@squirrelscorner.co.za), we are unable to respond as we do not have access to the Squirrels Corner listing/site.

How can this "problem" be resolved?

Can the existing listing be removed and a new one created with our details?

To anser  on reviews as  owner it doesn't help to start with a a  forwardedrview notoficattion.

Yourlisting in  Montagu is stillunder th ownershipof of this "NON-GMail-Account"  based  on  this  email "sq…@…. "

 

You need to have  this owner account sq…@….  to transfer  the ownership to your  own  GoogleAccount.

the previous owner denies ever having opened a google account, and does not know ant password, etc. i.e. not being very helpful.

I receive the google email notifications as the old email address is automatically routed to our current email address.

Can Google delete the old address?

We could then set up a new one.
