Trouble accessing a previously verified business page

I have previously verified my business:

I previously verified my business page with my current email account a few years ago. We got a new website and then recently added the google apps business account. Although I already had registered this account with google for this original business page, I was able to keep this email active when we made the switch. However, I now cannot access our google + page with this email (I suspect because it had a different password than now) any longer. I am the admin and cannot give access to anyone else since I can't access it. All I want to do is gain access to update and use it. Can anyone help? None of the other instructions help and I am afraid to change my password and lose all access. Thank you.

Try going directly to the business page dashboard >> https://business.google.com/manage/

 

Is it in there ?

 

If not try contacting business support:

https://support.google.com/business/contact/business_c2c_l?rd=3#

Hello @Annie L,

Basically what you need to do is request ownership transfer to your Google Apps email address. 

 

You will want to try and transfer ownership. Follow the instructions on that page. 

 

After you do this and email will be sent to you and the other email address which is the current owner. 

 

At that point, you may be able to just reply to the email granting consent. 

 

If not, wait 7 days and contact Google.
