Can you be a little more specific as to what you are trying to accomplish Bruce?

Thanks for responding.

I recently sold my orthodontic practice and want to transfer
ownership to the orthodontist taking over.

I have 48 Google reviews with an average of 4.9, so he is most
interested in those.

I don't understand ANY of this.

I just want him to have the website I had on (I suppose) Google My
Business and have been told that I must transfer ownership to him.

Thanks for any help.

Dr. Bruce Roman

Hi @Dr Bruce R,

Please follow this process and you should be all set.

Transfer ownership

  1. Sign in to Google My Business
  2. Make sure you’re using card view. If you’re viewing your locations as a list instead of cards, switch to card view by clicking the cards icon on the right side above your locations.
  3. Choose the listing you’d like to manage and click Manage location.
  4. Click the three dash menu in the top left corner of the page, then click  Managers.
  5. Locate the manager you’d like to transfer ownership to and click Manager on the right-hand side of their name. Learn how to add a new manager
  6. Select Owner from the dropdown menu that appears. You'll only see this option if you're the owner of the listing.
  7. Click Done. Ownership transfer happens immediately. You will automatically become a manager of the listing.

If you need further help, please just let us know.

Kind Regards,
