I'm the Communications support for our library system, and I'm working with a public library in our system, Deer Park Public Library. http://www.deerparkpl.org
Years ago, the city hosted the library's website. After trying to get the city and the previous developer to take that site down, or even archive it, we're still stuck with both library sites showing up on a google search. Here's a link to the old page: https://deerparkwi.org/library/
The correct website is linked on the right side of the search under google info.
Is there a way to downgrade the previous site, which is outdated and unhelpful to searchers? Are there any other strategies we can use to get the current, official website higher on the search than the old, outdated page?
