Could you elaborate on how the verification code failed? Do you mean that you accidentally entered the wrong code?

Hi Emy,

You will get the ownership of the account if the current owner didn't reply to the mail even after 7 days of your request..But in your case the current owner rejected your request...in that case I doubt the possibility of getting the ownership...the best way is to convince the current owner to share you the ownership...

Hi @bonny baby,

 

Actually, as per the newly launched automated conflict resolution system, as described here: Automating Ownership Conflict for Individuals, Emy should be able to verify the listing after entering the verification code, even after the owner initially declined the ownership transfer request.

I recommend @Emy_PatientPop to clean her dahsboard from all previous tries to get the ownership requested and start for scratch.

Re: the verification code -- the code, itself, was correct but for some reason GMB just wouldn't take it. It didn't say that the code was incorrect though.

Thank you for your response and for sharing the correct YouTube URL.  We'll go ahead with your advice by removing the listing from our dashboard and then starting the process again with an access request and verification.

 

I'll let you know if the issue remains with our next try..
