Hi there,

 

I manage the web side of things for my employer and am having troubles getting the business listing claimed back.

 

I have requested already twice now to gain ownership from the previous owner but have had no luck. I have not been contacted by a representative of Google or/and been provided a case ID whatsoever.

If someone could assist me I would be very grateful.

I noticed the steps on that page have changed slightly recently. Did you receive a confirmation email after submitting the request? And did the email included a link to contact support?

 

The last step mentions it:
Allow a full 7 days for the current listing owner to respond to your request. If you don’t hear back after 7 days, click the link in your confirmation email and follow the instructions to request additional support.
