The owner of the business sees this error message and the "request access" message (http://share.getbento.com/2k0g2d0l0G1a) which shouldn't be right. The owner should be able to have access and ensure that the location is not a duplicate, which it isn't.

There was some initial confusion with their other location, Burger. Aptos and the address being mixed and that's why the duplicated location occurred but now it should be settled and the owner should be able to claim that location as it's real listing.

When trying to request access we get this error message for the past few days. http://share.getbento.com/3t1M0C3w2f3N

Please help us clarify and solve so she can have the updated information present on her profile.

Looking for a response here. This is clearly a bug as the OWNER of the google my business listing does not have access to deem the location as "not a duplicate".

Hi Calvin,

We also see the same message in the verification window as "Request Access" and the reason for that is "Duplicate Location".

I am not sure why such issues are cropping up. We have had video verification calls twice. But the representatives speak nicely over the call and convey that everything is good. But after the call, they come with some unimaginable excuses and such reasons. The only option after the video call is a long mail trail. For sorting such a small issue, no direct call is arranged. I don't know why some unwanted should be wasted in writing emails which will solve a complicated issue.

I definitely think, there is some bug or the process does not authorise the verification team to take it to resolution.

Regards,

Harshada Chavan

Have you been able to resolve this yet for your business? It's been a week and we really need to make updates to the Google My Business profile.

I've sent multiple support emails, requests, and called them and got the same crafted excuse that they'll reach out to their specialists and get back to me but haven't as of yet.
