No Response Ownership Transfer Request

I've been attempting to gain access to the Google My Business page for my company(Imperial Sign Crafters).

A duplicate was created in my current account, and I received an email confirming the duplicate and steps to take to fix it. From there, I've filed a form to Request Ownership Access multiple times with no confirmation or any response from Google. I even responded to the original confirmation in an attempt to get help, no answer.

When I'm in the Google My Business account page, and click on 'request access' it just loops back to the same page. 

What other options are available to me to get this fixed?

The steps  are as quoted as below:

To request ownership of a service-area business from the current listing owner:

  1. Go to business.google.com/add
  2. Enter your business information.
  3. Click Continue.
  4. Complete the verification process. Verification by postcard takes a few days.
  5. Once you've verified your listing, sign in to Google My Business.
  6. You'll see an "Owner conflict" dialog indicating that the location is a duplicate.
  7. Click Request access. The current listing owner will receive an email asking them to get in touch with you, and you’ll receive a confirmation email.

Have you accomplished all steps  1 -> 7 ?

@Helmut Geissler I have done that, however when I did that, that's how I ended up with another duplicate.

When  have you last time clicked  at  "Request  access" ?

 

Which one of  the three listed  cases  applied for you  (I  refer to the  stuff as written below of "What to do after you've requested ownership" and have you then  waited the  seven days  already?

@Helmut Geissler When I click 'Request Access' it throws me in a loop. It just takes me right back to the same page, over and over again. 

I haven't heard anything from Google or the person who holds the account now, it has been over 7 days. There is nothing on my dash that says 'claim' or 'verify' or another listing besides the duplicate I made while trying to get access.

I am getting the same loop whenever I am clicking 'Request Access' for my business too. :( I have lodged an issue with Google Business support but still waiting for the response and it's been more than 2 months now. Everytime I ask for an update, I get the same reply back that "a specialist team is currently working on it and it's a known bug in the system"

Hi did you end up fixing this issue? I too am having the same problem over and over and can’t request access. Only difference is I am the new and old owner of any accounts listed to my business. I have owned it for 12 months and still can’t get my google business listing to show. I sent in a support ticket but keep getting the same response to keep trying to verify the business. I also got a message saying they are having technical issues with this procedure and will get back to me when they can.

@Sabby B I haven't even received the reply that it is a 'known bug in the system'.
