Need to take down old business page!

Visitor ✭ ✭ ✭

Hello,

I have a profile set up for my old practice years ago that I have lost access to. Unfortunately because it is under my name and was made ages ago, it is driving traffic away from my new page. I have tried to get this page removed through Google and have submitted my business documents months ago, but no luck.

Here is the old page I want to see removed: https://plus.google.com/+DrAnthonyStrelzowIncVancouver/about

Here is the new page: https://plus.google.com/114271001658319860534/about

Can someone please help me get this old page removed?

Thanks

Hello Anthony,
The new page is a Brand page so it would only be found in Google+, which nobody uses to find local businesses.
I would not be found on maps and Web searches.

The old page is the Local page, the one that can be found on maps and Web searches.
Please, see the differences between Brand and Local pages in this help article.

If your interest is to be found on Google maps and Web searches it would be best if you delete the new Brand page and try to re-gain control of the verified Local page.
Please, follow the procedure described in this help article to gain control of the listing.

Google would send your request to get admin rights to the page to the current owner, your old Google account
Since there is not going to be a reply, you should contact My Business support immediately to request assistance from Google to gain control of the listing. Essentially transferring ownership of the business listing to your new Google account.

You can contact Local business support by pressing the Contact Us link at the top of the Business help center

You can request a call back from the support team if you contact them during regular business hours.

You can just indicate on the page that you are no longer using it.

What???

There is no option like that Kenneth and several of your other answers are giving out bad advice. I suggest you check the help docs to be sure the option or solution you recommend exists before offering it.

You are really a genius Kenneth.if using Google My Business since 10 Years.

So you were using it 8 years before Google launched it.
It's one of the most ridiculous reply I ever read here.

But even more ridiculous would it be complaining about anyone here in the forum quoting the name Kenneth - the Google My Business genius from Singapore.

If you would like to know, it was not called Google My Business before that.

wasn't the genius @Kenneth Tan P yelling "DID YPU KNOW THAT I HAVE BEEN USING GOOGLE MY BUSINESS FOR MORE THAN 10 YEARS???"

@Kenneth Tan P  did not wrote like "I have been using GMB and any of their predecessors for more then 10 years"

But even in case you have been using all versions of this Google product since 10 years you shouldn't advise unspecified and useless nonsense like "You can just indicate on the page that you are no longer using it"
