Our google business account was set up by a colleague who has now left the business and whom i am not able to contact or isnt picking up the emails.

We are moving so we need to change the address details this week and we are not able to log in to do so. Can any one please advise on transferring the google my business account to the business email it should've been set up with in the first place.

If you've tried all "forgot my password" steps and you're still unable to access the account, you can go through the steps to begin claiming the listing. (click "get on Google) - you'll be advised that someone else owns the account and it will ask you for more information. There is a waiting period to see if the person replies - they will see an email from Google.

If the requests are unanswered by the person who set the account up, Google My Business Support (https://support.google.com/business/contact/business_c2c_na?hl=en&cfnti=escalationflow.c2c&cft=5&rd=...

may be able to help get access but in most cases, you'll lose any content or customization that was done to the page. You'll basically be starting over. I would make sure you've exhausted all options in accessing the account before attempting to re-claim it.
