Merging Accounts Best Practices

Hello,

I am working on a client that  currently has 3 physical locations. 2 of them are associated with 1 google account and the other associated with another one.

Is there a best practice when it comes to merging accounts?

Should I transfer it all to one account?

Should I make a third account and just start clean and send everything there? (preferred method)

Will that effect SEO in anyway?

Will I be losing reviews?

Add the account you want to KEEP as an owner in Google My Business for all locations (https://support.google.com/business/answer/3403100?hl=en).  Once you've done that, you should be able to make the account you want the primary owner on all locations.

Once they are the primary owner, you can login to the account you want and remove the other, unwanted account of the listing.

This won't impact SEO and you won't lose reviews.
