Hi there

I wonder if someone can help me.  I am building our Google Map presence and
have verified our address in Spain.  The problem I have is when we go to
look at Googlemaps for our company, it appears to redirect to another
company, who are in the same industry.  For example, if I go to google maps
and put in a search for Barrington Homes Spain - it comes up with a
reference to another company called Duquesa Estates.  This is the same for
other keyword searches relating to our business name and it is all to the
same company.  Do I need to approach them and ask them to remove these
keyword searches from their website or is it something within google that I
have missed.  Thanks in advance for any advice.  Regards

Hi @Barrington H

Due you mean in the Title of you site ?

screencapture (11).png

This is your own site, correct ?

Looking at the cached version of your website, this is what you had set as your <title>

<title>Duquesa Property Sales | Barrington Homes Estate Agents</title>

However looking at the current version of the site, you don't have a title even set.

<title></title>

I would recommend that you get one added to change the display in search results.

Suggest:

<title>Barrington Homes Spain - Estate Agents in Manilva</title>

I would also suggest adding full business details into the footer of the site ( address exactly as on your business page ) then use structured data to mark this up : https://schema.org/RealEstateAgent

Also in your Contact page : http://www.barringtonhomes.eu/Contact-Us.htm

I would remove that embed map and embed your actual business location, this will help connect your business page to your website

This is your embed from business page.
