Google has suspended the wrong G+ page

My client - Falcon Motors in Newark - has had issues with an unknown person claiming their G+ listing and then ignoring it, so all reviews go unanswered and the brand image is badly suffering. I have asked the page owner to transfer the page to me, but have never received a reply. Here is the page falsely representing the business: https://goo.gl/maps/9w6kiLCZTNS2

To try and protect the brand image and mitigate against this we set up a new G+ page to represent the Falcon Motors Newark MOT and Servicing side of the business: https://plus.google.com/u/0/b/117893498318434586337/117893498318434586337 We post to this page every day and respond to the reviews we have been getting.

Therefore, I reported the first page to Google as an impersonation page ([3-7977000022573]) but Google has suspended the wrong G+ page. It has taken down our page, not the fake one!

How can I get our page unsuspended please?

1. Falcon Motors Newark

2. 2 Northern Road, Newark, NG24 2ET

3. 01636 677177

4. https://goo.gl/maps/9w6kiLCZTNS2 (this is the fake G+ page)

5. https://www.falconmotorsnewark.co.uk

Thank you for any help or advice!

Hi @Liselle B

You had me scratching my head for a second there by calling it a G+ page.

The reason it was suspended was because you created a duplicate GMB listing and there is already one already verified at the location.

Please can you request ownership of the GMB listing:

I know you have said that you have done this, but I need to track this and make sure you complete the correct procedure.

Allow 7 days for the current owner to respond. Then if you have not had a responce from Google, or owner - please come back here and I can escalate to the team.

PS: I would recommend completing this from the same Google account that is connected to websites analytics.
