Fixing duplicate listings

I've been searching for help with this but got stuck so appreciate a pointer.

Business name is StudioRav. (

The current address is Castlemill, DY4 7UF.

The old address is Regent, Birmingham.

Contact number is the same 07807 997 010.

Unfortunately both entries are showing in Google Maps and search.

Obvious solution was to request an edit on the old address but I just get the email to say I can edit from Google My Business. Another suggestion was to go to GMB and search for the old business then request ownership. It tells me that it's already added to my account.

Then it takes me to an entry which is closed. Also the address is the new one. So it must be that I edited it and then later when it didn't update I closed it and somehow also managed to add a new entry(?)

I have attached pics of the old entry and the new one.

My question is really how do I get rid of the old address...

@Ravi K

I'm bit confused about  the info Google would have told you the old listing is "already added to your account."

Fraom what I see the 'old listing is manage in a GoogleAccount baased on a mail-Address " st…@…." (its not a gmail- based account) - see below 2017-03-11 18-59-31.png

Do you have any idea about the ownership of this account " st…@…."???

Hi Helmut

If not a gmail could it be a googlemail account? I think it's the same account that I use.
