Duplicate location actually separate location

Hi there, I managed 2 locations of a gym, the first in Brentwood and the second in Santa Monica, of which the second is marked 'duplicate' and it's actually not a duplicate.

I can view the duplicate location and click view original, but google shows me the Brentwood location as the original.

I've just become manager of both of these so not sure what's going on, but each of these locations should be separate and there are no duplicates. Anyone have any suggestions on how to fix? What am I missing here?

Thanks in advance for any help!

Hi Lori

In this situation I think it best that you contact GMB support directly to talk through the issue. You can use one of the following options to get support:

Hi Lori!

Have you tried going into the Broadway location to see if there are any additional notifications under the "Info" tab?  Sometimes this provides more context to why Google is listing is as a duplicate.  If possible, I'd love to see a screenshot of the info tabs for each location to see if there are any other data fields that Google may be considering as duplicate.

In general, I've found the Understanding Your Listing Status Google support document really helpful.  It includes a "How to fix" column that links to additional help articles.

Hope this helps!
