Deleted both (one duplicate) locations and I cannot claim them

My business partner had claimed the google business page.  A duplicate one was under my name.  We went to get rid of the duplicate one and got rid of both!

Now when I go to claim my business, it says it is owned by someone else and that I need to transfer ownership.

I filled out the form and I got a response back from someone who is a manager on the business page, but he cannot change ownership.

Whether I sign onto my account or my partner does, we cannot claim the business and it is not on our "locations" page.

I am still listed as the primary owner, but I can't get access.

Hi @Steve K

So you got a response back from, the current owner of the business page:

https://plus.google.com/+Crossfitsoar/about

And they said they could not transfer ?

You will need to contact business support, to help transfer ownership.

Before you do, I would suggest you both log into your respective account Dashboards to see if the business is in the account.

If not, then you will need to speak to business support:

Contact Business Support

OR - Go to Dashboard >> Manage Location

Top Right ( Hamburger Menu ) >> Support

Select Support >> Help Menu Pops Up

Scroll Down to Email

Contact Business Support Email and Call Back.png

Fill in the details >> Request Call Back or Email

seems to be potentially and issue of using the correct email to Login.

When you :  Now when I go to claim my business, it says it is owned by someone else and that I need to transfer ownership.

It should have given you a TIP or clue ( basically a partially redacted email address).

Is the manger an employee of your Business? or from some sort of marketing / website company?

You can try and cycle through available emails be logged into google and click this link:  It will bring up any Google My Business accounts associated with that email
