I have quite a few locations that I have been working on getting back so that we can control the google pages internally and manage reviews and other items. I have gotten a few of the locations under my control but am struggling with the following:

I have been trying for several months in sending requests to the current listing owner/s. I have never gotten a reply back from the owner from any location. I have been able to add some locations with help from google representatives by providing proof of my ownership in the business by providing proof of domain ownership of our website (www.napadib.com), however, this has not worked for all locations as some representatives will not help after the owner does not respond. I think at some point in our companies history we may have had some ad agency take possession and manage our listing before so I do not know if it is them or something else may have happened. 

 

 

I have waited fully with all of the timelines that they have gave me and still get no responses. I'm getting no results. What can I do?

Hi @Corey W,

 

You should have gotten farther along than this I would think, but I don't have the answer for you.

 

I'll escalate this for a Google employee to look at.  But FYI most of the team is out at a meeting for the rest of the week and I'm trying to cover for them. I know I won't be able to keep up with everything, so if you don't hear anything by Wed, please reply to this thread and I'll have someone else take a look.

This is such a time consuming process - despite showing all the proof per the guidelines AND showing you are the legal owner. 

 

We are actually having our attorney send a letter based on laws in NJ / US regarding ownership of our locations. 

 

Need US support sorry to say.

The struggle is that I want to get this issue fixed so I can spend money with Google on ads for my business. But I can't spend money with Google because of Google. I wish there was a better way than this system which appears broken.

We're dealing with a couple of issues here, including not always receiving your replies to the thread.  So it's not that @Linda Buquet wouldn't answer, more likely she didn't know you replied.
Will chase this up for you.
@devin l, @David D - please start your own threads. Happy to help but it gets super confusing for the original poster to have replies to their responses not related to their particular issue.
It also helps keep conversations and the forum better organised.
