Hi,

I'd like to know how do i proceed for this scenario:

Old Business has GMB listing; That business is closing and It's GMB listing has been marked as closed now.

Now, there will be new business opening on the same address with the same phone number. How do i make sure that the new listing i'll create for the new business does not gets merged with the old listing? I don't want to associate the new listing to the old one because, the owner is different and i want to make sure, the old reviews of his business doesn't gets associated with the new listing.

Please let me know.

Thanks!

You will need to have a new business name, owner name, phone number and website, Otherwise you will more than likely be flagged for trying to avoid old bad reviews.

The new business has new owner, different business name, different website except for the same landline phone number that they don't want to change. What can be done so that, both old and new aren't associated?

PS : The old business has good reviews; Just don't want to associate old business's info with the new one.

The same number at the same location on a google location may cause at least one specialist to be doubtful. I would have two lines and phase the old one out overtime.
