1 location moved but now 2 show same address, can we merge please

Hello -

We moved a satellite office.  I received the post card and entered the code and all three locations show again as published. But, two of the locations are now the same address.  Can we merge them so they just reflect that one location for a total of two physical locations now?  I do not want the old location to show as "closed" because this makes it seem like the business is closed which is not the case.  The phone number, website, business name is all the same (same Dr.) and the new location is close to the old one.  It would be great for the merge to pick up the review and other data from the location that was moved.  I would like this to happen before Google picks up the two as duplicates as I'm not sure what might happen if that takes place. Thanks in advance for the advice.

Old location (now shows new location address):

New Location:

https://www.google.com/search?q=Dr.%20Stephanie%20Carollo%20Foot%20and%20Ankle%20Care%2048467%20Van%...

Harry,

Google got back to me. The duplicate in question was actually created for a different location (Romeo Plank Road), and incorrectly updated to the new address (Van [censored] Ave). They created a new feature for the old location (Romeo Plank Road) and marked this one as closed to maintain the data. The current location (Van [censored] Ave) may take a few weeks to be set, but will render correctly on maps.

@Harry C - I'm not really sure I'm following what you'd like done.

What exactly is a satellite office? Is it a staffed office where patients come?

You currently have 3 listings:

http://www.google.com/mapmaker?gw=39&fid=0x8824dfda3939e2d3:0xf073091662bd3038 and http://www.google.com/mapmaker?gw=39&fid=0x8824dd807c0c12f7:0x1a6eff21c5bc2030 should be merged.

http://www.google.com/mapmaker?gw=39&fid=0x8824def2cdf01059:0x754807aad099ce15 lists an address that is nowhere on your website. 41570 Hayes Road. You guys moved from there to 48467 Van [censored] Avenue?

Hello, thanks for the reply. The satellite office was just a small suite where patients would come. It was only used 1 day of the week so she no longer sees patients there anymore. It was also by appointment only so it would not make sense to show it as "closed" because people will think her business as a Dr. is closed which is not the case. Currently, there are two office locations. 1. 48467 Van [censored] 2. 41570 Hayes Road The office that we no longer use had an address of 46591 Romeo Plank, #105. Macomb Twp, MI 48044. What I did was edited that address and put in the 48467 Van [censored] address, since we moved to that location. Since I already had the Van [censored] place published, I then ended up with a duplicate of Van [censored]. So, the request is to merge the former Romeo Plank one which now shows as 48467 Van [censored] with the other existing 48467 Van [censored], otherwise there is a duplicate. You are correct that http://www.google.com/mapmaker?gw=39&fid=0x8824dfda3939e2d3:0xf073091662bd3038 and http://www.google.com/mapmaker?gw=39&fid=0x8824dd807c0c12f7:0x1a6eff21c5bc2030 should be merged. The 41570 Hayes location is still in use. We prefer to have patients come to the Van [censored] location so I took it off the main page, but we give patients the option when they call (benefit of a central number) and I still do have it listed on the website here: http://tenderfootandanklecare.com/clinton-township-48038-podiatrist/ If you want me to put it on the main page again I can. Thanks, Harry

Harry,

I've escalated this to Google to see if they can merge those 2 listings.
