updating an uploaded feed

Hello,

I have all but one items approved on my data feed - image link had a coma in it - so if i was to go back and fix it, do I need to delete the current data feed and upload an updated one again and get it approved again?

Thanks,

simply re-upload the (data-feed) file with the changes.

never, ever, delete the already registered feed
once registered -- unless a person (at google)

indicates to do so.

there should be one, single, feed (file) registered;
use the same registered feed for all updates --
including changes, additions, or deletions.

of course, you may keep as many (backup)
copies of the data (feed) file on your local
machine as you wish.

any missing items from a feed is considered a delete;
google tracks items by id -- so be certain that the id
value assigned to an item never, ever, changes.

as a best-practice do not use simple integers as id (e.g. 1,2,5,10,20);
rather, use internal sku or similar values as an item's id

Glad I didn't rush in and just delete it!!
How do I re-upload please? I cannot see an obvious button to press?

there should be a 'manual upload' link
next to the registered feed, beneath the
'upload' column, on the data-feeds page --

Ok, but will it appear underneath it as like another feed? How does it know to go off the new feed?

google will overlay the old data with the new data --
then, the updated results will appear date-stamped,
on the data-feeds page, on the same row.

that is one reason why never changing an id value is important.

the details and most recent set of uploads will appear date-stamped
on the feed-status-summary-report page, by clicking on the status link
under the status column, after the data-feed has been fully processed --
usually designated as '.... items inserted'.

I see, thank you for that!

So I had one link for image which didnt work, I will upload a new feed, wait to get processed and then wait for them to appear.

I haven't seen anything about setting up the click costs though, is that to follow?

Thank you

first, you're welcome.

that sounds like the best likely course.

the individual item (image_link) fix can be verified
by clicking on the item's title under the products tab --
https://www.google.com/merchants/dashboard?statusGroup=ALL

creating product-groups and cost-per-click bid assignments are
separate tasks, accomplished under the (linked) adwords-account:
