product listing ads - images do not align properly

Hi there. I'm set up for product listing ads using merchants.google.com to set up my product listing ads. I feel that I uploaded everything correctly using a feed however, when i go to products->lists the product selected image is off center. Some images work at the same image / dimensions and others don't so I don't know how this is happening.

The image used is the following

Does anyone know why this may be?

For additional information I am using woocommerce.

product listing ads - images do not align properly

Make sure your images are square, preferred dimensions are 800 * 800

When updating images, make sure to rename the file or use a query string at the end of the filename to ensure a forced update.

Hope it helps.

Thanks for the reply emmanuel. I made the images now square, but could only get it to render at 600x600 without recreating all the images.

Soo good news is that it's now centered but it's now cropped to cut off the picture. Not sure why this is if the ratio is now a square..

Do I have to recreate all my images? Would prefer not to but I will try if need be.

Now my code is
<g:link>
<![CDATA[ https://haerfest.com/shop/agnes-satchel-2/ ]]>
</g:link>
<g:image_link>
<![CDATA[
https://haerfest.com/wp-content/uploads/product/agnes-satchel-2/W43_AGNES_CROSSBODY_SATCHEL_OLIVE1-6...
]]>
</g:image_link>

What I find strange is that other images without the square dimensions come out like the following

As youll see below the top is cut off, yet centered which is what I would prefer

Rather than it being left aligned and full height... is there any way to control that? It seems to happen on some and not happen on others...

There is no need to recreate all images, minimum requirement is 250*, 800* is just a recommended size.

It could be that what you are seeing is a bug within Google, I recommend to report this which you can do when you login to Google Merchant and select feedback in the top right corner.

Hope it helps.
