Hi There,

Welcome to AdWords Community.

I am not sure what you exactly mean here, but if you mean Google Merchant Center, you can sign up and long in here https://www.google.com/merchants

If it is about something else, please elaborate your question.

Thanks

Hi Myk

To "edit ad's" can you elaborate on what you are trying to achieve?

Any modification items being listed through Google Merchant Center in order to appear in Google Shopping must be done so through the Data Feed you upload to your Google Merchant Center account.

If you are wishing to change things such as daily budget, promotional message, product group, etc, you can do this through logging into Adwords http://www.google.com/adwords/ and selecting your shopping campaign.

I have a customer who is registerd for google shopping at the merchant centre

they have asked me as their webmaster to log in and try and make the feed work because they have spent weeks on it to no avail

it is very frustrating because the help screen are not very helpful and I am not even able to get their spreadsheet on my screen

Hi Myk

You will need to discuss with your client, where they create their feed. If this Data Feed is created manually, from an export from their shopping cart etc...

This way, any modification that is needed can be done at the source, rather than modifying a DataFeed which may be overwritten if they add new items or generate a future feed.

Logging in to Google Merchant Center is done so at

www.google.com/merchants - using your clients login details or your own if they have added you as a user.

From there, you will click - Feeds found on the left hand side.

Click the name of the DataFeed you wish to view.

This will take you to a screen with three tabs, Status, Settings, Schedule

You will also see a status stating 1,000 items processed or similar. Across from this, you should see a download feed button.

This will allow you to download the last feed uploaded to the account.

I would suggest, uploading any changes to a test feed and ensuring this is showing no errors before uploading this as a live feed for review. However, again, I stress, you should work with your client on getting the feed from source to work from as this will ease any future updates.

Any errors with the current feed will be found under the diagnostics tab, also left hand menu.

Hi Myk B

I am sorry you feel that way, however, you have asked a simple question with little additional information, hence we can only offer assistance, the best we can with the details provided to us.

Google Merchant Center is a worthwhile product and once up and running can provide a great return and offer wonderful exposure and performance of items. If you feel we cannot assist you on the forum, with further information being provided by you, then I suggest reaching out to a Google Adwords Product specialist here
